Metrix
Metrix Instrument Company was founded in 1965 in
Houston, Texas. It was the first company to offer 4-20
mA vibration transmitters for seismic and proximity
monitoring. This greatly simplified the process of
vibration monitoring and reduced its cost. The company
is focused on customer-driven research and development.
Metrix’s commitment to innovation and product
reliability continues to produce more firsts. Recent
advancements include a loop-powered impact transmitter
to detect mechanical looseness in reciprocating
